Site-specific projections throughout Wellfleet for one evening.

This pop-up event features site-specific projections by artists from across New England and beyond that will transform twilight for 90 minutes on Saturday, August 10. Participating artists include Stephen Aiken, Mark Brennan, Elizabeth Giamatti, Kelly Knight, Sarah Bird, Eric Kosse, Kai Potter, Eliana Pasternak, Carrie Scanga and Ron Harrity, Lili Chin, Jon Verney, Trevor King, Jasper Treese, Grace Emmett, and Milisa Moses. All participating artists are encouraged to experiment and improvise to find innovative ways to deepen the ideas and themes central to their individual practices by engaging with local landscapes and architectural features.

“A goal is that this project will help solidify Wellfleet as a home for experimental contemporary art on Cape Cod,” said organizer Susie Nielsen. “Site-specific projections have this magical ability to transform familiar places and help people to see things in a new way. It is exciting to see how this event is growing to include more artists coming from further afield to share their unique perspectives on this special place. I’m excited to see, once again, how they will use this opportunity to engage the community and inspire others to see Wellfleet in a new light.”
