Plein Air Painters

On Saturday, June 15, the town of Wellfleet will be celebrating the art of plein-air painting! Local painters will be joined from artists traveling from out of state and Canada. It is always intriguing to watch the artists at work, see the locations the have chosen to capture, and chat with them about they techniques. The artists plan to paint from 8:00 AM to noon after which wet paintings will be on display at the library! As an added bonus, poet Jim Zola will read from his latest collection It's the Unremarkable That Will Last, which features a Paul Schulenburg painting as its cover, followed by a book signing.
