CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL

First Congregational Church of Wellfleet, UCC

  • Since the church was built at this location in 1850, it has been an iconic Community Center. Since it seats over 400 people, it has been the home to the largest concerts held in Wellfleet, and the spectacular acoustics have caused many live recordings to have been made here. We are the home to a progressive faith Community, welcoming and affirming all who choose to come to worship and engage. We have held all kinds of special events, including Weddings, Funerals, Guest Speakers, Comedians, even Bar and Bat Mitzvahs!

We are continuing to attract new community events, and this year, we are host to the Wellfleet Farmer’s Market, among many other activities. We maintain a virtual presence through our website and our FaceBook page, and we look forward to meeting you here or in virtual space!
