What makes the Wellfleet oyster special and desired worldwide? Against the backdrop of Wellfleet harbor, participants learn the history of the famous Wellfleet oyster. They meet at the L-Pier (the wooden pier to the left of Mac’s on the Pier) to join former WHS&M president and commercial oysterman Dwight Estey for an entertaining and informative look at an industry that is synonymous with Wellfleet.

This 60–90-minute tour covers areas of the town pier and is wheelchair friendly.

Cost is $20, children get free admission (accompanied by an adult).

2nd and 4th Tuesday monthly at 10 am
