Meet the man who dreamed up the Headless Horseman and sent him chasing hapless Ichabod Crane! Have a conversation with author Washington Irving when John Dennis Anderson as Irving regales you with the origin of his classic stories “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “Rip Van Winkle,” as well as his adventures in England, Spain, and the American West. Irving’s accounts range from lost love and making (and losing) fortunes to buffalo hunts in Indian territory. In addition to his solo performance as Irving, Anderson will answer your questions in character and then as the scholar/performer behind the character.
