Authors in Conversation: Alexandra Grabbe and Yelena Lembersky
Alexandra Grabbe is the author of The Nansen Factor, Refugee Stories. For a dozen years, she ran Chez Sven Bed and Breakfast and blogged about living green on Cape Cod.
She now blogs at alexandragrabbe.com. Her essays have been published in the Washington Post, Next Avenue, and the Washington Independent Review of Books. Most of the stories in her debut short story collection were written in Wellfleet.
Velena Lembersky is an author of Like a Drop of Ink in a Downpour, shortlisted for the Indie Book of the Year Award in 2022. She is a regular speaker on art, women rights, and trauma and resilience of children-survivors of political repressions. She was a recent guest on NPR's Here & Now and Radio Boston. A granddaughter of prominent artist Felix Lembersky, Yelena is a curator of his work and an editor of an art catalogue, published in 2009. For more information, visit lembersky.org
