Their is no GPS for Grief
While grieving and loss is a universal experience, it is also an extremely personal one. In her Grief Speak series, Dr. Mari Nardolillo-Dias insightfully addresses issues so many of us experience - from the collective trauma of a divided political climate to the uncertainty surrounding our children's unique perspectives, and so much more. This presentation features a visual overview of types of grief and grieving, including traumatic and complicated grief along with the effects of grief on the brain. A Q&A period will follow, along with a signing of Dr. Nardolillo-Dias's Grief Speak books, Volumes 1 and 2.
Dr. Mari Nardolillo-Dias is a nationally board-certified counselor, holds a Fellow in Thanatology and is certified in both grief counseling and complicated grief. Nardolillo-Dias is a Certified death doula, and has a Certificate in Psychological Autopsy. She is Professor of Clinical Mental Health, Master of Science program, Johnson & Wales University. Nardolillo-Dias is the director of Grace Pointe Grief Center, in North Kingstown, RI.
