Wellfleet Historical Society at the Wellfleet ACC

Wellfleet has been the proud home of immigrants since people from Finland, Cape Verde, and the Azores landed to pursue their rich farming and fishing heritage. The "Bridges" program, now in its second year, is a student-led program in which 6th to 12th grade students conducted interviews with Wellfleet immigrants who shared their journey to Wellfleet. The local community and visitors will have the opportunity to meet with the interviewers and interviewees at an evening event at Wellfleet's Adult Community Center. An edited version of the interviews will be shown and food from the interviewees native homes will be shared.
