Marianne Cronin's The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot is a heartwarming novel about the unlikely friendship between 17-year-old Lenni and 83-year- old Margot, both patients living with terminal diagnoses in a Glasgow hospital. Together, they decide to create 100 paintings to tell the stories of their combined century of life. Funny, tender, and moving, this book explores themes of the power of human connection and finding joy in the face of mortality.
