These numbers only represent a fraction of the trauma that millions of people experience everyday in the American for-profit healthcare industry. Yet numerous polls have shown that over 70% of Americans support switching to a universal healthcare system. Meanwhile, in the middle of a global pandemic, President Biden received more than $40 million USD from healthcare lobbyists in 2021. Using an all-star lineup of heavy-hitters in the healthcare movement, Healing US walks through all key points of the arguments in favor of a universal, single-payer healthcare system. Healing US is a rallying cry to the American people. We are reclaiming control of our hearts and bodies. We are redefining what it means to be American.
