Mass Audubon

Experience the best of morning bird activity with a Wellfleet Bay naturalist on this walk along sanctuary trails. From pine woodlands and a freshwater pond to salt marsh and beach, the site's variety of natural communities offer diverse bird sightings. Total distance traveled is less than 1.5 miles at a slow to moderate pace as we look and listen for songbirds, shorebirds, wading birds, and other wildlife. This walk is a great introduction to the birds of Cape Cod and appropriate for birders of all levels. Binoculars are welcome but not required.
