Wellfleet Preservation Hall
Join us on Tuesday, July 21 & 28 and September 1, 8, & 15 for a nature, art, and mindfulness workshop with watercolors!
This will be a guided creative exploration of the natural world using watercolor as a tool for discovery. This experiential process-oriented workshop welcomes all levels and abilities. Beginners will be offered an introduction to the medium and experienced watercolorists can begin exploring. Our time together will include gentle stretches, simple breathing exercises, sensory nature observation and watercolor experimentation. The class will be held in Preservation Hall’s peaceful green backyard space. On rainy days we will migrate to a spacious hall with a view of green space and trees and a supply of sources from nature. The workshop is led by Rebecca Arnoldi- teaching artist, naturalist, certified mindful outdoor guide and yoga instructor. Drop in for any one session or come to all! Bring your own materials, or you can use what we’ve got: some basic watercolor materials will be available with a suggested donation of $5/class.
Register at the door, $36 per student.
