Penelope Jencks, Sculptor Penelope Jencks is a sculptor whose work has been commissioned and shown in the United States, Europe, and India. Her best-known work is the monumental sculpture of Eleanor Roosevelt at Riverside Drive and 72nd Street, New York. Jencks has called Bound Brook Island in Wellfleet her home for many years, living in a home built by her father in 1939.
