FARM PROJECTS
We are all Widows. We have all loved and lost. Yet no two individuals grieve alike.
In this workshop we explore the mute bewilderment of loss through gesture and improvisation. With a focus on walking as conscious embodiment, the participants employ imagery, body articulation, and slow movement to evoke memory and emotion.
We walk a meditative processional and both as a collective and as individuals-creating a raw beauty for an experience that has no adequate language. What arises is a breaking through the borders of grief to become connected to the world in a new way.
