Farm Projects at Wellfleet Preservation Hall
JUMPSTART! with M P Landis
Saturday, March 23, 9-4 at Wellfleet Preservation Hall
$300.
This one-day intensive process-oriented workshop is open to anyone interested in pushing through creative blocks or ruts, or who just needs a good post-winter jumpstart. The course is taught through visual means, but is open to those with any creative interests, veteran and novice alike. We will explore many ways of incorporating our experiences and the world around us to awaken our creativity and push through our fears and judgments.
There will be a variety of playful assignments utilizing drawing, painting and collage along with other exercises, such as collaboration and chance operation. In addition to these activities there will be the opportunity to individually discuss your own projects and/or goals.
You will leave the workshop with a portfolio of works on paper that you can continue working on and come back to for future reference and inspiration.
Bring paper, glue or glue stick, drawing instruments, water or acrylic-based paints, a bottle of ink, and anything else you want to play with.
The workshop will run from 9-12 and 1-4, with a one-hour break for lunch. We recommend bringing something to eat, or Box Lunch Deli is nearby.
