MONDAY JANUARY 6 - "HOW TO"

The Knitting Circle is holding a lesson for beginning knitting and crocheting. The basics of both will be introduced to all those interested. Limited yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks will be available.

KIMBERLY DURHAM has been an academic teacher and has been crocheting since adolescence. She learned knitting from two elderly friends when her children were small. Both crafts are immensely satisfying and enjoyable, not a day goes by without some of either craft.

TOM STALL started knitting 35 years ago, as a means to center and ground himself. He grew up around knitting as his mother was a prolific knitter (he still owns the sweater she made for him that got him through the Blizzard of '78), though he is a bit rebellious, as he learned to knit Continental versus his mother's English style of knitting.
