Marine wildlife strandings on Cape Cod typically begin in early September and go until mid-January. Many animals like sunfish and dolphins find themselves stuck inside Cape Cod Bay, trapped by the hook of the Cape, and folks walking the beaches do not know what to do if they find a live or dead marine animal. During this informational program, New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance (NECWA) president and founder Carol "Krill" Carson will instruct audience members on what to look for, what to do, and how to get involved with the rescue and release of stranded marine animals.
