Constantine Manos - American Color Photographs
Part of a monthly changing exhibit showcasing local artists.
Constantine Manos has created unique and complex images that freeze surprisingly disparate elements together in a single fascinating frame.
Photographing in crowded public places and many unique locales in the United States, Manos presents a kaleidoscope of the visual vocabulary and candid moments within our American culture. Each image has it's own message and elicits it's own set of responses from the viewer and provides a rich and dynamic situation for capturing the unexpected.
Manos has transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary and the real into the surreal in this truly beautiful and colorful collection of photographs exhibited here at The Wellfleet Adult Community Center.
