MEMOIR WRITING

Join Mary Hamlin in learning how to get your memories preserved for the future. Attendees will receive questionnaires and hear ways to select photos, stories and thoughts that help you identify and document stories about your important family members, people, places and choices in your life. Learn to tell and write those stories so you can preserve and share them with family, children and friends. Identify ancestors, grandparents and others with our genealogy charts before their names and stories disappear. Three sessions will help get you on your way. For session one, bring three photos or items of significance as well as notebooks and /or journals. Mary has taught memoir writing classes for 4+ years and will share her memoir books with you. Just seeing her books will get you motivated and excited to begin this process. Writing prompts are included to help stimulate your creativity.
