This self-healing acupressure workshop introduces participants to the ancient Chinese practice of acupressure, a non-invasive technique involving pressure on specific body points to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and enhance well-being. Attendees will learn to locate and stimulate key acupressure points along their body’s meridians to address common ailments like stress, anxiety, headaches, and fatigue, empowering them to take control of their health through self-care techniques.
Diane Kovanda is the founder and director of training at Kind Yoga and Meditation School in Centerville, MA. With over 20 years of experience, she teaches practical mindfulness and yoga to professionals at organizations such as Cape Cod Healthcare and Cape Cod Five. She holds a Master of Education with a specialty in stress management and is a certified Reiki Master and certified Shiatsu Practitioner.
