“Small Boats, Big Taste” Documentary Screening

  • Wellfleet Preservation Hall 335 Main Street Wellfleet, MA, 02667 United States (map)

Wellfleet Preservation Hall

Join us on Friday, May 29th at 7 pm for a screening of “Small Boats, Big Taste; How a Community Combatted COVID” -a remarkable documentary that reveals how the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance launched a rapid, dramatic effort to support both our independent small-boat fishing fleet and people facing food insecurity during a time of great fear and uncertainty.

From the decks of boats offshore to food banks and pantries, fishing captains to fish processors and chowder makers, this inspirational tale explores how a community responds to a deep crisis, a case study in how people can come together to support, help, and feed each other.

Co-produced and narrated by Wellfleet’s very own Seth Rolbein.

This event is free to attend. Please stay after the screening to sample the soups featured in the documentary!
