With her signature spark and fearless wit, actor & playwright Miranda Jonté dives into
the solo show world once again premiering her brand- new work, The Goat Is In The
Freezer: An Evening of Monologues, Essays, & Poems. After twenty years in NYC, Miranda hits the road in her trusty van, Mathilda, spending two years crisscrossing the far reaches of the U.S., caring for people’s houses and their pets while navigating the pandemic. From a log cabin in the Pacific Northwest, to a Cracker Barrell parking lot in upstate New York, to a sweltering pet sit on a Texas farm, these notes from the road take us on an adventure of wander lust, friendship, theatre & film work, and dog rescue – all fueled by enormous humor and copious amounts of coffee.
Miranda’s first solo venture, the celebrated Good & Kissed, premiered at the Midtown International Theatre Festival in 2017. She recently concluded seven years of touring the show with a farewell performance at Tate Farms in Rockwall, TX.

The Goat Is In The Freezer is Miranda’s first appearance at Wellfleet Preservation Hall.
