THE MOSQUITO STORY SLAM: STORIES WITH A B I T E !
The Mosquito is a live storytelling event on the Outer Cape, fueled by YOU, our audience!
Mosquito Story Slams are an opportunity for audience members to participate by telling a 5-minute true, personal story based on a theme. Stories are told, not read - no notes or props allowed, just you, a mic, and your Story!
Our mission is to celebrate and honor the diversity and commonality of our human experiences through the art and craft of live storytelling. Currently in its 12th year, the Mosquito has presented thousands of stories to live audiences and podcast subscribers. Each show features special guest storytellers and audience favorites.

STORYTELLING TIPS -
We find that successful stories are rehearsed, connect strongly to the theme, have a sense of urgency or suspense and a compelling opening and closing line (a little humor never hurts). Practice in your car or in the shower and record onto your phone for timing!
