Wellfleet Walks

Wellfleet Adult Community Center Event

The Friends of the Council on Aging volunteers lead walks every Saturday at 9:30 for an easy to moderate walk of approximately one hour or one to two miles. The group is led by a volunteer on trails in or around Wellfleet. All are welcome to join these convivial walks. For more information call 413-281-5829.

April 22: Rail trail walk. Starts and ends at theLeCount Hollow Road parking lot for the rail trail. Diagonally across the road from PB Boulangerie. We will be going north on the newly paved part of the rail trail, which ends at the Wellfleet Hollow State Campground, and returning. The walk is almost flat and smooth and is about 1.5 miles round trip.The turnaround point is about 50 feet in elevation above the start and has a nice bench for a rest. Leader Steve Blanchard.
