Do you love to imagine and create your own stories? Do you love to perform?
Join us for a week-long camp to learn all about the ins and outs of making a performance, create your own show with your peers, and most of all: have fun!
SHADOW THEATER
Ages 9 - 12
Monday - Friday 12:30 - 2:30
Students will, design, build and perform their own stories using puppetry techniques borrowed from diverse cultural traditions, while learning about aspects of storytelling and performance.
KIDS PLAY at WHAT
Ages 13 - 18
Monday - Friday 10:00 - Noon
A week-long workshop creating a play from scratch! Students will write the script as a group, create a set, get in costumes and rehearse this play in preparation for a performance for friends and family on the WHAT stage on the last day of class.
PHYSICAL THEATRE: WHOLE BODY STORYTELLING
Ages 13 - 18
Monday - Friday 12:30 - 2:30
Explore the expansion and subtlety of engaging your body in performance.
No experience necessary, just bring your sense of play and a water bottle!
Tuition for each workshop is $25.
