IMPROV FOR KIDS

Ages 9 – 12

Tuesdays 3:30 – 5:30, starting March 11 (6 sessions)

Instructor: Katie Pentedemos

Students will leave this improv class with all the tools to be a supportive, character driven improviser who says “yes, and” to their scene partner to build fun, game-based scenes as a team. Students will play improv games, do acting exercises and get an opportunity for one-on-one coaching

Katie Pentedemos is a local teacher, actor, improviser and a founding member of IMPROVincetown. Katie has been doing improv for 12+ years, starting her career in Boston with professional training at ImprovBoston and Chicago’s Second City and worked her way up to the IB Mainstage and National Touring Company. Katie can be seen on stage at Wellfleet’s mPreservation Hall and The Provincetown Theater.

Tuition for each class is $25.  Full scholarships are available to any student. Transportation to WHAT may be available from schools, please ask Tia for more information.
