Local Journalism Project
Join us for afternoon tea and cookies served up with the sheer loveliness of Bob Finch's prose read by Indira Ganesan, Chris Wisniewski, Paul Greenspan and Kathy Shorr.
Widely regarded as one of America’s leading nature writers, Bob published eight books of essays and twice received the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for Radio Writing for his weekly radio commentaries on WCAI. Described in the New York Times Book Review as "a keen and passionate observer” and “today's best, most perceptive Cape Cod writer in a line extending all the way back to Henry David Thoreau” by the Christian Science Monitor, Bob was also a beloved member of the Wellfleet community.
We will gather at the Kohlberg House (courtesy of the Cape Cod Modern House Trust) overlooking the beach that Bob so lovingly wrote about. Indira Ganesan, Chris Wisniewski and Paul Greenspan will read several selections of Bob's work and Kathy Shorr will give us a sneak preview of Bob's soon-to-be published last book.
Tickets are $30. The setting is spectacular and intimate-space is limited-reserve your spot today!
