Wellfleet Preservation Hall

Wellfleet Youth Film Festival: Calling all student filmmakers! Wellfleet Preservation Hall is hosting their 7th annual film festival for filmmakers ages 7-23. This red carpet event will take place on August 29th, 2025, at 6pm. Submissions are due August 22nd. Residents outside of Cape Cod are welcome to apply. Categories include Narrative (Drama, Comedy, or SciFi), Animation, Documentary and Music Video. Filmmakers will be divided into 3 age groups:  7-11, 12-16, 17-23. 

Recognition and cash prizes will be awarded for aptitude in screenplay/writing, editing, cinematography and originality/creativity. This program is sponsored by the Harvey & Pamela Geiger Charitable Fund. Youth Artists-in-Residents Lily Cianfaglione and Romanee Hunt will spearhead this year’s Wellfleet Youth Film Festival.
