Suncatchers: A Community Gathering for Remembrance will honor residents who have died at the Lily House since we opened our doors in October 2023, and all those we've loved who have passed.
To date, the Lily House has provided end-of-life care for over 50 residents. We cared for each resident with love throughout their end-of-life journey. Suncatchers is an opportunity to gather once again with friends and family in celebration and remembrance.
Suncatchers is also an opportunity for us to gather as a community to remember all those we’ve loved who have passed. We invite all attendees to bring photos and/or mementos of their beloveds— human and animal—to adorn a community altar.Whether you have experienced the death of a loved one recently or many years ago, this event is for you. Together, we will join in song and ceremony, keeping the spirits of those we love close.
