Author Talk: Tony Kahn

  • 55 West Main Street Wellfleet, MA, 02667 United States (map)

Wellfleet Public Library

Tony Kahn will be presenting excerpts from his graphic memoir in progress, Human Warm, about his pioneering work in podcasting in the early 2000s. Tony's podcast "Morning Stories" was NPR's first podcast, as well as the first to be featured on iTunes. Tony turned his listeners worldwide into storytellers and a worldwide community of voices exchanging very personal stories from the most disparate of experiences. Hear their voices break through the alienation and stratification of the world today.

Tony Kahn has written, produced, narrated and hosted more than fifty radio and television programs and series for PBS, NPR, Nickelodeon, A&E Cable, Monitor Radio, CBS Cable, and Boston television stations WGBH and WCVB. He was also the producer and narrator of the NPR docu-drama series "Blacklisted," which chronicled the Hollywood blacklisting of his screenwriter father, Gordon Kahn, during the McCarthy era.
