The Morrill of the Stories

  • Wellfleet Preservation Hall 335 Main Street Wellfleet, MA, 02667 United States (map)

Wellfleet Preservation Hall

For many years now, Dick Morrill, a local treasure and well-known raconteur, has been wowing audiences at Mosquito Story Slams and elsewhere with his true stories from a lifetime of hilarious and sometimes hair-raising adventures. Like the time he taxied a Boeing 707 through a blinding snowstorm, having had no previous experience doing such a thing even in good weather. And the time he figured out how to drive two cars at the same time. A stroke of genius! And you’ll never forget his completely original take on growing up Catholic.

As an actor, Dick was one of the founders of the Wellfleet Harbor Actors’ Theatre and has appeared on many local stages, including the Academy Playhouse, Cape Cod Repertory Theatre, the Harwich Junior Theater, the Harbor Stage, WHAT for Kids and, of course, WHAT. He was also a founding member of the Narrow Land String Band and will be joined this evening by fellow Narrow Land-er Stephen Russell, on guitar and vocals.

A splendid time is guaranteed for all. All ADULT audiences, that is.
